Today is a travel day for me. No, not in the car—I did that last week when I drove six hours for a meeting to avoid having to deal with getting to the airport super early so I could hope and pray I don’t end up near a body scanner of which I would have refused.

I adore Ash; she’s Southern-born and sweet but strong, like the magnolia. A very talented and determined writer, she is also surrounded by men in her house, and is a fierce and fabulous mother and wife. I also love her humor. Ash, if you only knew how much you’ve given me.
