So the Hubs and 3 boys will be on their own for a couple days but they can handle it. I will miss them so much. On Monday I will be helping her get groceries, cook food, unpack, make phone calls. And then on Tuesday I will be driving 10 hours back home. Back to work Wednesday. Say a prayer. Be back soon!

Road Trip with my 88 yr. old Grandmother
I'm going to be putting myself to bed shortly because tomorrow I will be driving 10 hours to take my grandmother back home to Florida. As in at the very bottom of that peninsula. Today Hubs and I drove to North Carolina together to get her--3 hours there and 3 hours back. The ten hours tomorrow will actually be longer than 10 hours as we will need to stop at least every two hours.

Wow you are a great granddaughter! So nice of you - have a safe trip!
ahhh you are so sweet to spend time with your grandma! I wish I had more time but they both passed away. You are so kind to help her.
and I love the pic you posted...it makes me smile! Good luck and be safe!
p.s did i ever tell you we loooove Florida. Just booked a trip to Key Largo and Miami. ahhhh so excited.
I hope you'll be doing at least most of the driving!
Hope you have a great trip. One of the funnest roadtrips I ever took was to Florida with my grandma.
I like the picture too :)
I hope you enjoy the time together too! Safe journeys.
Thinking of you on the road. Have a safe trip. Ten hours on the road is a long day, but I admire women who do it.
That is the cutest picture ever. Is it your grandmother?
I'll bet she'll be glad to be home. Especially after that long road trip! Hang in there.
I just did pretty much the same thing, drove down to LA to visit my 90 year old grandma and help her run errands, etc.
I'm guessing you're back in the office today - hope the journey was not too stressful.
Though, honestly, 10 hours in the car bymelf sounds like a slice of Heaven right now :-)
Whew, I guess you got back okay?
Hope it was fun with Grandma!
that is a great picture! :-)
