I don’t remember much about an astronomy class I once took. But I can tell you I love the moon and especially a full moon. I love looking at it and getting everyone in the family in the driveway to look at it and I like to ask my friends in other states if they saw it. I may not pay attention to the scientific details, but throw in some juicy deets about astrology, menses, werewolves, historical stories, birth and lunacy and I’m all ears.

There are so many reasons why you and I are best buds. I, too, LOVE the full moon, and all the mythology and fact that goes with it. Have loved werewolves and scary stories since I can remember. Find myself drawn to looking at the moon every month. In fact, I don't know if there has ever been a full moon in my lifetime that I have not stopped and gawked at. Usually I'm with someone who is happy to just cast a glance upwards and be done with it. But no, not me...I stand there and gawk. I've always wondered about why I do that. I've never heard of the Snow Moon. I love that name.
