Spongebob says, "I'm Ready, I'm Ready"

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween weekend. I ate all of the roasted pumpkin seeds out of this pumpkin. For the first time in history I took the boys trick or treating with friends while Hubs stayed home. And no one came to our house (not many kids on our street and so the kids go to another 'hood) so no one but us and y'all got to see Spongebob on a pumpkin.

But more candy for me. Oh, and I purposely waited until today to buy candy and bought 5 bags from Target along with my usual week's worth of stuff. Then saw an accident in the Target parking lot in the pouring rain. No one hurt, but a big crash at the end of my aisle with a car plowing into the side of a van.

Due to the rain tonight I couldn't see the almost full moon--did anyone see it? It is officially the full moon on Monday night. And a full extra hour of sleep tomorrow. Yes!(mine are the escaped convict, the werewolf and the Gator Fan).

I saw the moon and took 20 lame pictures of it, found one worth posting on my blog - why, oh why do I try??? It was a lovely Halloween, we got lots of trick or treaters, lots of little ones this year, they make me happy. Why are they all mostly witches? There was one rocking astronaut little girl I wanted to hug!

I ate too much candy, yuk!

Happy Halloween!

We couldn't see the moon with all the clouds. At least it wasn't raining!

Yes, we had a full moon here in Ringgold! It was one of those awesome evenings where the clouds parted and the setting sun highlighted the ridge of trees, then a rainbow popped up...the entire neighborhood came out to look and take pictures. Then the sun set and the moon appeared (albeit surrounded by clouds), and it was almost one of those magical evenings that can't be captured by a camera but definitely captured by the feel good place in your brain and heart!

That pumpkin is awesome! We need to up our jack o' lantern game.

We had like ten trick or treaters at our place. You? I think the rain kept people from wanting to walk down and back up our hill.

I love that photo. Love the trees and the Fall colors in the background.

ONE trick or treater! I had ONE. Well, to be fair...we were gone most of the night. But still. ONE.
Where I used to live, we were out of candy by 7pm! THOUSANDS of people. And now, ONE.

More snickers for me.

Now tell me my dear, which do you prefer on your caramel apple? Sprinkles or nuts????

Cute costumes and what a score on getting to keep all your candy to yourself. Yep, saw the full moon out our windows last night - awesome. Great carving job too! And wah, we did NOT get an extra hour of sleep. I wonder how old our kids will have to be until we get to enjoy that again!

I didn't even try to bother photographing that moon bc I knew I'd just be disappointed that it didn't fully capture its awesomeness.

Spongebob Pumpkin!! I'm ashamed to admit we didn't carve a single pumpkin this year! For shame.
